Fishery now open

We are open!

As the government lifts restrictions on our ability to exercise and to play sport, our fishery is re-opening.

Our game and river keepers have been collaborating in stocking the river with beautiful brown trout, which have again been hatched and grown on our own trout hatchery in preparation for you to enjoy trying to catch. As the fish were being released into the river we spotted the first Mayfly of the season, could we have got the timing any better!

If you are planning on enjoying the fishery please be mindful of the current government policies which include travelling sensible distances to exercise and social distancing. Please use gloves when opening and shutting gates, we will be sanitizing them during the course of the day but your help would be greatly appreciated. Be mindful of other anglers and ensure you are at least 15 metres from your neighbour. We have designated our fishing huts ‘out of bounds’ to minimize the risk during these unprecedented times.
