The community that live and work on Longford Estates are extremely important to its wellbeing. We will not lose sight of our past traditions but the focal point must be a strategy to support the future generation and it is our aim to share this with the community.

The Estates also play a wider community role within the rural villages of Alderbury, Downton, Nunton, Odstock and Bodenham. Where possible we offer the community many opportunities from village greens, allotment gardens, village halls, rural education access via schools days, children’s recreational areas and charitable donations.
Supporting the wider community
Longford Estate is fortunate to own The Radnor Arms, Nunton and The Green Dragon, Alderbury, two free houses that add significantly to the spirit of the Community. The Estate owns and operates a number of businesses in the wider community contributing resources and offering employment to the people that live in the area.
