Jack’s Ice Ultra Challenge
230km. Five days. The Arctic Circle. February 2023.
Jack Folkestone has finished his phenomenal Ice Ultra Challenge 2023, raising over £12,400 for Horatio’s Garden so far!
Some of you might remember him from when he completed the ‘toughest footrace on earth’, also known as the Marathon Des Sables in 2021, and raised over £50,000 for Horatio’s Garden! This time, he’s successfully completed the epic Beyond the Ultimate race, amazingly coming in fourth place!
Please donate hereFrom Tuesday 21st February – Saturday 25th February 2023, Jack made his way across the Arctic Circle in temperatures as low as -40°C in an equally testing race covering 230km over five days across snowfields, arctic tundra and frozen lakes.
Incredibly, he was once again generously fundraising for Horatio’s Garden and has raised a monumental amount so far. He’s now home safe and sound, but there’s still plenty of time to donate in celebration of Jack’s extraordinary achievement!
After months spent rigorously training, we’re absolutely thrilled to see that all Jack’s efforts have more than paid off. You can discover more about everything he faced on his incredible ultramarathon over on his dedicated Instagram, which tracked Jack’s progress every step of the way.
